Protea Hotel
The Protea Hotel is now one of Lusaka’s tallest and best known buildings. 580 tons of pre-engineered steel were erected over ten storeys. The project provided significant
complexities, such as the confined working space and the lack of tower crane 38m above ground level. However, taking responsibility for the critical path, we worked with several sub-contractors to deliver the scope of works within nine months.
