Quality, Health, Safety, Environment
Our operations are performed to the highest international standards and ensure we always keep
one eye on the future and the environment.

Clients First – Customer Focus
Quite simply, we focus on you, your requirements and how we can meet them. As a result, we deliver measurable value and satisfaction. We achieve this through effective planning, design, production and communication.
We have a quality management system in place to ensure we consistently provide products and services that meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations. We comply with ISO 9001 certification and its seven principles provide the foundation for our performance and improvement:
QSHE: Quality

Leadership
Our leaders provide direction and help our people do their best work.
They communicate, coordinate and inspire. They help create a culture of trust and integrity, set a positive example.

Engagement of People
We engage our people by empowering them, respecting them and recognising their achievements. As a result, they’re more creative, more motivated and, ultimately, better able to deliver quality products and services to our customers.

Process Approach
One of the ways in which we are able to achieve consistent results is by clearly defining the processes and systems that deliver them. This helps us plan better, measure quality against benchmarks and manage risks that can affect outcomes.

Improvement
We continually focus on how we can do things better, learning from challenges to improve performance and customer satisfaction. Objectives are set and continually measured to ensure that we always recognise and reward improvement.

Evidence-Based Decision-Making
We understand that we make better decisions when they’re based on data and analysis, and that’s why we focus on accurate measurement. This makes us more objective and more confident which, in turn, makes us both more efficient and more effective.

Relationship Management
We don’t just build and manage high quality residential, commercial and industrial structures, we build strong, effective relationships. Seeking out suppliers and contractors who share our standards means that we move forward together.
QSHE: Health & Safety
We operate in challenging environments across Zambia and beyond, where the hazards are very real.
That’s why we take steps to mitigate the risks and to safeguard both our people and the people around us.
We take Health & Safety very seriously and ontinually assess occupational Health & Safety directives at local and global levels. Our established set of policies and procedures comply with the appropriate regulations, British Standards and approved codes of practice for the countries in which we operate.
Of course, we also give our staff all the training, resources and support they need to carry out their work safely.
K2 Construction are working to attain OHSAS 18001 certification – and operate at this standard on a day-to-day basis. OHSAS 18001 is an internationally applied British Standard for occupational Health & Safety. It helps organisations like ours reduce accidents and comply with legislation. Basing our approach on OHSAS 18001, we are underpinned by three key Health & Safety principles:
